Medicine has opened its doors to now serve exotic animals! The states exotic animal medicine service will be providing medical and surgical care without a referral from here on out to animals such as gerbils, ferrets, fish, toads, turtles, snakes, caged birds and backyard chickens!
The state is beginning to offer these procedures as having
backyard chickens as pets becomes more and more popular in urban areas.
