The American Cancer Society will be
hosting its third annual “Bark for Life” event at Martha Clara’s Vineyards in
Riverhead on Sunday, April 28th, 2013 from 12:00- 3:00pm. Cancer is a sickness that we as humans do not
fully understand. Every year thousands
of lives are claimed by cancer, so it is very important that we do all that we
can to raise money to invest in research that may one day produce a cure.
The American Cancer Society Bark for Life is
a non-competitive walk event for dogs and their owners to raise funds and
awareness for the American Cancer Society’s fight against cancer. Bark for Life offers many activities for the
entire family to enjoy with their furry friend.
Including an Opening Ceremony, vendors, entertainment and various other
activities. Save the date and
Pre-register, fees include $20 for canine and owner, $30 for owner and 2 dogs
and finally $10 for individuals.
