Many experts believe that if you’re going to have your pets
in the car, they need seatbelts too! When pet owner Leslie may was traveling
with her two pets and the cars in front of her quickly came to a dead stop,
Leslie feared if she slammed on her breaks someone would rear-end her. She worried her pets would be seriously
injured if this was to occur.
Leslie proceeded to collide with the car in front of her,
but she and her dogs luckily left the accident unscathed. Had her dogs not been
buckled in, the outcome could’ve been much worse.
With a steady increase in pet owners traveling with their
pets, it is important to spread the word about restraining pets when traveling.
